Find your shade in Bali

Teduh means shade, and shelter, and a calm place to rest. We look after forty six private villas across the island and know every one of them by heart.

We started with one villa that belonged to a friend. Guests kept asking where else they could stay that felt the same, so we went looking. Every villa on Teduh has been slept in, cooked in and swum in by one of us before it ever reaches this page.

Every booking comes with a host who lives nearby, a driver from the airport and a fridge stocked with what you asked for before you landed.

If something breaks, someone comes the same day. If it rains for a week, we know which villas have the best covered terraces.

How a stay comes together

1

Tell us your dates

And who is coming. Babies, grandparents, a dog, a surfboard bag. It all changes which villa is right.

2

We send three villas

Not thirty. Three villas we would choose for you, with honest notes on each one, including the bits we do not love.

3

Hold it with a deposit

Thirty percent holds the villa. The rest is due a month before you arrive, and plans can change up to then.

4

Arrive to a cold drink

Your host meets you at the gate with coconuts, the key and a list of everything nearby worth your time.
